Appreciations from past participants

Lori, Lisa and Carole were the three participants of the April-May 2026 deep French immersion in Ariège, France. They loved it and they decided to share their opinion of the experience with you! In English and in French for you to practice and to show off their progress :-)

Carole:

The Deep French immersion tour hosted by Baptiste was exceptional in all ways. His top

priority, aside from ensuring each participant progresses in their French language skills, is to

provide a comfortable, fun, and engaging tour while immersing you in the French culture and beauty of the landscape. He provides for a variety of experiences, from dining in fine

restaurants to inviting local community members to cook and share a meal with the group,

engaging with vendors at the French markets, touring ancient sites of historical significance,

exploring natural areas of stunning beauty, and more. I looked forward to each day being a new experience and a new opportunity to push my language skills. I was pleased to recognize that my confidence in engaging in French conversations improved greatly over the course of the tour.

Lisa:

J'ai beaucoup apprécié le séjour Deep French grâce à la variété des activités qui m'ont permis d'améliorer mon français. Les leçons que nous nous sommes données mutuellement et les dîners avec les autres participants étaient particulièrement agréables. J'ai adoré découvrir une nouvelle région de France. Et surtout, Baptiste est un excellent professeur de langue !

Lori:

Il y avait tellement de choses et d'activités dont j'ai profité. Premièrement, le village de Foix est très joli avec plusieurs bonnes qualités. Il y a plusieurs bons restaurants et boulangeries et un café magnifique. Ensuite les activités quotidiennes qui étaient intéressantes et éducatives. Mais, la chose plus importante était les conversations en français. Tous le temps, tous les jours. Je ne peux pas en dire assez.
