Deep French
Le stage douillet

This French immersion experience is half the length of my typical offers, but just as intensive. It is suitable for people who don't want to commit to as much time but who still want to deeply boost their French. At the same time, we'll align with the season's natural energy and spend five cozy, mellow days together. While the language exposure is intense, the activity energy is meant to be more like spending a cozy winter week with friends.
I'm still working on the details, schedule, activities and daily excursions, but have a read at the text below to get an idea of what this French immersion experience will be like.
Day 1 (Monday, January 18, 2027)
This French immersion will be based in and around Foix, Ariège, which is a gorgeous area in the French Pyrenees.

Day 2 (Tuesday, January 19, 2027)
On this cozy experience, we will spend more indoor time than on my other immersions, to align with the wintery energy of the season. Indoors, we'll have a daily routine of shared meals, "show and tell", creative activities, and good conversations around tea, coffee, hot chocolate and seasonal pastries (there's one bakery in Foix that has the best brioche I've ever had).
Day 3 (Wednesday, January 20, 2027)
A little bit more patience for a detailed itinerary. However, I can already tell you that the indoor time will be balanced by daily excursions to visit some of the area's gems: maybe the 1000-year-old castle, maybe the Prehistory museum or one of the 6 caves tourists can visit. Those will be perfect opportunities to diversify French exposure while continuing to benefit from my pedagogical coaching to make the most of it.
Day 4 (Thursday, January 21, 2027)
Cozy also means good food! Like on the other Deep French immersion experiences I organize, we will eat lots of delicious food, including by eating out at the best local restaurants that I selected for you over my 7 years of living here.
Day 5 (Friday, January 22, 2027)
What about cozy includes some movies or shows? All in all, even though this immersion experience is shorter, it is intense with lots of French acquisition from breakfast to the end of dinner, and sometimes even later into the evening.
You'll still get all the breaks and alone time you need, but you'll definitely be immersed fully into a deep bath of French so that you leave the experience with improved language mastery and beautiful memories.
One fee, no surprises
Because my company is based in France and because all my expenses are incurred in euros, I charge you fees in euros. You can easily pay with your USD account or from a bank in another currency. However, the price in euro is the one that will prevail regardless of exchange rates fluctuations.

Give me a moment to calculate the budget based on what we'll do exactly. To give you an idea, my typical 10-day immersion experiences cost €5,000. The price for this experience will be lower because it is shorter, but coherent with that kind of fee.

Transportation at the beginning and end of the trip. However, I can guide you about the best ways to get to Foix (by train from Toulouse)

Each traveler must limit their luggage to one suitcase.

Cancellation policy: If the trip is canceled by SARL école équilibre, all fees paid will be refunded in full. If you cancel less than 60 days before the trip, no fees will be refunded. If you cancel between the time of payment and 60 days before the trip date, you will receive a partial refund: your fees minus any expenses already incurred in preparation for the trip, minus any bank or similar fees related to your refund, and minus a penalty of €500-€1,000 to compensate for losses related to your cancellation.
